Storyline
The main protagonist of NFS: Pro Street is the wannabe "Street King", Ryan Cooper. You roll up with your Nissan 240SX on race day as you attempt to become champion for each racing event that's held. The first official race day you will encounter is Battle Machine. You move along onto different race days as you complete and become victorious on them. Need for Speed: Carbon, also known as NFS Carbon or NFSC, is an Electronic Arts video game in the Need for Speed series. It is the tenth installment and was the first game in the series to gain the PEGI rating of 12+. The game is a sequel to 2005's Need for Speed: Most Wanted.
Need for Speed: Underground 2
Shortly after becoming the top racer in Olympic City, the player is ambushed and their car is destroyed by an unknown assailant. Six months later, they relocate to the city of Bayview to start over, guided by a contact named Rachel Teller who introduces them to the local racing scene. As the player earns sponsorships and builds a reputation, they draw the attention of Caleb Reece, the leader of a crew called The Wraiths who is attempting to control Bayview's racing scene by manipulating sponsorship deals. Rachel reveals that Caleb is the same person responsible for the attack in Olympic City. After turning one of Caleb's crew members to their side and surviving multiple attempts to sabotage their career through rigged tournaments, the player challenges Caleb directly, defeats him, and claims the title of Bayview's best underground racer.
Need for Speed: Underground
The player arrives in Olympic City as an unknown street racer, guided by a contact named Samantha who introduces them to the local illegal racing scene. As they climb through the ranks by defeating circuit, drag, and drift specialists, they attract the attention of The Eastsiders, a dominant racing crew led by the city's top underground racer, Eddie. Eddie dismisses the newcomer and forces them to race Samantha to continue climbing, a decision that fractures their friendship. After working their way to the top of every racing board and reclaiming Samantha's stolen car from a rival mechanic, the player confronts Eddie and defeats him, only to face a final challenge from an unidentified driver revealed to be Eddie's girlfriend, Melissa.
Need for Speed: Most Wanted
The player arrives in Rockport City, driving a racing version of the BMW M3 GTR (E46). Following Mia Townsend (played by Josie Maran), the player proves his driving prowess as he is pursued by a veteran police officer named Sergeant Cross (played by Dean McKenzie), who vows to take down the player and end street racing in Rockport. Races seem to be in the player's favor until a particular group of racers, led by the game's antagonist, Clarence "Razor" Callahan (played by Derek Hamilton), sabotages and win the player's car in a race.
Split/Second
Split/Second is an intense action racing game set within a reality television show. Competitors will vie to be the first to the finish line in a made-for-TV city set rigged to blow with the ultimate goal of becoming the season champion. Players in Split/Second don’t just collide with other vehicles to knock them from the track, but can also trigger devastating events that drastically alter the dynamics of the race. Players must use pinpoint timing to obliterate huge structures and towering TV set pieces to tactically alter the track or create entirely new routes.
Need for Speed: Undercover
The Need for Speed series got another dose of Hollywood magic with the release of Undercover. Take on jobs and compete in races to prove yourself as you infiltrate and take down an international crime syndicate. Need for Speed: Most Wanted takes on the gameplay style of the first Most Wanted title in the Need for Speed franchise. Most Wanted allows players to select one car and compete against other racers in three types of events: Sprint races, which involves traveling from one point of the city to another, Circuit races, each having two or three laps total and Speed runs, which involve traversing through a course in the highest average speed possible. There is also the Ambush races, which start with the player surrounded by cops and tasked to evade their pursuit as quickly as possible.
